WOOTTON MURDERS: Police release picture of wanted man

Anxiang Du
Northamptonshire Police have released a picture of a man they are searching for on suspicion of stabbing a family of four to death.
Anxiang Du, a Chinese business associate of the family, left his home in Coventry at 10.30am to go to work in Birmingham, where he is the manager of a Chinese herbal remedy store in the city’s Pallisades shopping centre.
But he never arrived at the store and a suicide note was found there by members of his family. The public have been warned not to approach the 52-year-old, who is described as having a slim build and wearing a baseball cap to hide a bald patch on his head.
He was last seen wearing a white baseball cap, brown waist length coat, grey trousers, a blue woollen top and black leather shoes.
Police believe he is likely to be nervous and scared.
He is understood to have travelled to Northampton on the train. Officers have yet to recover a murder weapon.
Police launched a quadruple murder investigation after the bodies of Jifeng Ding, 46, Helen Chui, 47, Xing Ding, 18, and 11-year-old Alice Ding were discovered by police at 6pm yesterday (Sunday, May 1) at their home in Pioneer Close, Simpson Manor near Wootton.
All four had suffered stab wounds.
A plea for help in locating a silver Vauxhall Corsa, registration BG60 PMO was also issued last night.
Hundreds of Facebook tributes have been added to sites set up to honour Xing and Alice Ding.
