WOOTTON: Tributes paid to murdered Xing and Alice Ding

R.I.P Xing Ding
Tragic: Xing Ding
Tributes have poured onto Facebook sites set up for 18-year-old Xing Ding and her little sister Alice, 11, who were brutally murdered over the Bank Holiday weekend.
The girls were stabbed to death at their home in Pioneer Close, Simpson Manor close to Wootton, along with their parents, Jifeng - known as Jeff - Ding, 46, and Helen Chui, 47.
Northamptonshire Police discovered the bodies at 6pm on Sunday, May 1 and launched a quadruple murder investigation. Police forensic officers carried out extensive investigations at the property and last night an appeal was issued to the public to help trace a silver Vauxhall Corsa, registration BG60 PMO.
The five door car had been hired out by Xing, but has not been seen since Friday (April 29) night, when it was parked outside of the house.
Talented violinist Xing was a pupil at Northampton High School and was set for Cambridge University. She had been the first ever Pupil of the Year at Whitehills Primary School in Kingsthorpe.
Alice attended Caroline Chisholm School in Wootton.
Following the deaths Facebook sites were set up in honour of the girls, RIP Xing Ding and RIP Xing and Alice Ding
Currently 1,684 people are following the latter, with hundreds of tributes including:

Sana Hussain: RIP you will be greatly missed. I will never forget your smile. One of the most talented yet down to earth girls I knew. xxxx
Cassie Mathews: It is such a shame that the most talented of all people must be lost, but there must be a higher purpose for such wonderful people in the next world. May your next life continue and flourish into everything you wished for.
Mandie Hounsell-welch: It is hard to believe this has happened to Alice..she is the loveliest person. The children at CCS will never forget her. I am so sorry. Mx
Emily Calder: No one should ever have taken such amazing people for granted. None of you deserve this. What kind of sicko does this? Still in shock actually crying. Everyone misses you and we hope you rest in peace ♥
Sharmila Walters: Xing, I have known you since we were 8 and 9 and Alice, we had Blue Peter together back in 2007. You were both such amazing, beautiful, talented people. I will miss you both greatly. xxxx
Elizabeth Ryan: Can't believe such a wonderful, shining example of humanity with more talent in her very being than anyone I've ever met, could have been taken from us all with such horror. RIP Xing Ding - you had no idea how many people's lives you touched with your goodness. :(

Yesterday a police spokesman said the deaths were being treated with the highest priority and the force’s Major Incident Team had been deployed.
He added that the motive behind the deaths does not appear to be due to burglary or robbery; and later ruled out murder-suicide.
Anyone with information about the incident should call police on 0800 0961011 or 0207 1580126 and ask for Operation Nene.
