Tragic: Xing Ding |
The girls were stabbed to death at their home in Pioneer Close, Simpson Manor close to Wootton, along with their parents, Jifeng - known as Jeff - Ding, 46, and Helen Chui, 47.
Northamptonshire Police discovered the bodies at 6pm on Sunday, May 1 and launched a quadruple murder investigation. Police forensic officers carried out extensive investigations at the property and last night an appeal was issued to the public to help trace a silver Vauxhall Corsa, registration BG60 PMO.
The five door car had been hired out by Xing, but has not been seen since Friday (April 29) night, when it was parked outside of the house.
Talented violinist Xing was a pupil at Northampton High School and was set for Cambridge University. She had been the first ever Pupil of the Year at Whitehills Primary School in Kingsthorpe.
Alice attended Caroline Chisholm School in Wootton.

Yesterday a police spokesman said the deaths were being treated with the highest priority and the force’s Major Incident Team had been deployed.
He added that the motive behind the deaths does not appear to be due to burglary or robbery; and later ruled out murder-suicide.
