The championship was being held at the Milton Malsor based circuit for the first time after the track was totally re-vamped by World Championship track builder Justin Barclay.
The circuit has previously hosted a number of club and national races over the decades, but Sunday's action saw a step up in level.
The MX2 class caters for either two stroke bikes with a 145cc capacity or a four stroke with a capacity of 175cc to 250cc.
Osborne notched up two wins to the one of Tonus, including finding a turn of speed in the second race that saw him come from midpack to outpace his Swiss counterpart.
The result means he has extended his overall lead over Tonus to six points as the series takes a six week break ahead of the next race at Desertmartin in Northern Ireland on Sunday, June 26.
In the MX1 competition, racing for two stroke solo machines with an engine capacity of 175cc to 250cc or four stroke with a capacity ranging from 251cc to 450cc, PAR Honda's Brad Anderson grabbed first, second, first finishes to put himself 19 points ahead in the championship.
Kristian Whatley (Samsung Yamaha) finished second on the day with a stunning performance which included a charge from nearly last on the opening lap of the final moto after a first corner crash.
In the MXY2 youth class HM Plant Red Bull KTM UK rider, Ryan Houghton scored a narrow two point win over James Dunn (JCS Apex Doodson KTM).
Both had a win apiece, but Houghton backed up his opening moto win with a second while Dunn could only manage third in his other race.
Despite his success Houghton still trails overall leader Jordan Divall (Evo Tech Honda) by two points, 116 to 118.
The next event at Milton Park will be the Nora Quad Championships on May 17.
