WOOTTON MURDER: Police retrace suspect's route

The exact journey believed to have been taken by murder suspect Anxiang Du, was retraced by police officers yesterday - on the one week anniversary of the murders of four people.
CCTV images, released earlier this week, showed 52 year old prime suspect Anxiang Du, arriving from Birmingham New Street Station to platform four in Northampton train station. Mr Du is believed to have killed Jeff Ding, 46, Helen Chui, 47, and their daughters Xing, 18, and Alice,12. Their bodies were found in separate rooms of their home in Pioneer Close, Wootton on Sunday.
It is believed all four were stabbed to death on Friday (April 29) evening.
Officers then travelled to Greyfriars Bus Station where Mr Du was believed to have waited in Bay 19, eventually getting on the Number 15 bus. This trip was also revealed by CCTV images.
The journey finally ended when officers travelled into Wootton Village, showing the bus stop Mr Du was believed to have got off at.

An identical car, pictured left, to the missing silver five door Vauxhall Corsa, bearing exactly the same registration – BG60 PMO – was also shown in the village, to help people identify the vehicle and remind them to be alert should they see it.
A re-appeal was made again to anyone who may have seen Mr Du or the car on the Friday or have seem them since to urgently call the police incident room on 0800 096 1011 or Crimestoppers, in confidence, on 0800 555 111.
