HUNSBURY: No arrests in Sentinel Road burglaries

Police have yet to make any arrests following two burglaries in a West Hunsbury street a month ago.
Property including a BMW, a computer, jewellery and cash were stolen during the burglaries in Sentinel Road on Sunday, March 27.
At the time of the incidents Northamptonshire Police released a statement saying it believed the offences were connected. The first burglary took place at a property between 5pm on the Sunday night and 4am on the morning of Monday, March 28. A handbag, some jewellery and a white BMW M3 were stolen.
The second happened between 2am and 8am on the Monday morning. Items including a computer, a handbag, cash up to £1,000 and debit cards were taken.
Shortly after the incidents one neighbour said she saw a youth peering into her back garden as 'if he was casing the house' and others have since invested in burglary alarms.
Officers carried out door to door enquiries and patrols were set up in the area following the burglaries, but this week police admitted that no-one had been arrested and no property recovered as yet.
A police spokesman confirmed: "It does not appear that anyone has been arrested at the moment or that the property has been recovered."
Anyone with information regarding the case should call police on 03000 111 222.
