Acoustic star to play The Old White Hart

One of the finest and most distinctive acoustic guitarists on the folk music circuit is set for Northampton.
Phil Hare will be playing at the Great kNight Folk Club at The Old White Hart Inn in Cotton End next Tuesday (May 17).
After serving a 'local apprenticeship' in the north west of England, Phil became a solo performer at the end of the 1980's, taking to the road with powerful, self written songs from his 'Maidenhead Revisited' album.
Over the years he has been increasingly in demand as a session guitarist working with the likes of the late Jake Thackery, The Spinners, Isla St Clair, Vin Garbutt, Chris Newman, Woody Mann and many more.
Doors to the show, which costs £6, open at 8pm.
