Get loud at Wootton Fields Library

When many people think of a library, images of austere gentlemen and ladies judiously studying Dickensian literature or complicated reference books, overseen by a severe - usually bespectacled - librarian, may be their first thought.
But not any more - Wootton Fields has decided to 'Get it Loud in Libraries'.
The Wooldale Road library is set to host a live concert, featuring performers Spark and The Good Natured.
Set to take place on Monday, March 7, the event is the latest collaboration between Northamptonshire County Council and Tribal Group.
The music will suit people of all ages - you can get a sneak preview by visiting www.youtube.com/sparkthemusic and www.myspace.com/thegoodnatured
It follows the huge success of the pop concert that Wootton Fields Library held last year, which was the first time 'Get it Loud in Libraries' had selected a Northamptonshire library to host one of its concerts.
Last year's event was such a hit that the library had to turn people away, so anyone interested is being encouraged to book now.
Tickets cost £5 and available by calling 01604 669213 or visiting http://www.seeticket.com/
Doors open at 7.30pm for a 8pm start.
'Get it Loud in Libraries' is a national organisation which aims to give people who love music a great time in libraries while supporting up and coming musicians and bands.
