A West Hunsbury man who sparked a high speed police chase has been jailed, according to a report in the Evening Express in Aberdeen.
Darryl England, 25, from Claystones, West Hunsbury admitted driving dangerously today (Thursday, December 31) at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.
His car had hit a police Range Rover following a 26 mile chase on February 26. England had been heading towards Peterhead in Scotland when the incident took place. The Express reports that defence agent Stuart Beveridge said England was currently serving a prison sentence of three years and two months imposed in March for crimes of dishonesty.
Sheriff James Tierney sentenced England to another 15 months behind bars, to start after he has finished his current sentence, and banned him from driving for four years.
The Express article includes pictures of England and the scene after the crash.
