New police structure: Your community cops revealed

The new structure of Northamptonshire Police is in place.
This morning (Monday) saw the roll-out of the forces' two new command units.
The Territorial and Crime and Justice commands replace previous area based units. They have been introduced as part of an efficiency drive aimed at saving £25million in the next four years.
Territorial Command will include Safer Community Teams, emergency response teams, roads policing and the Force Communications Centre.
Crime and Justice will take in CID, Major Investigations, Public Protection, Intelligence and Criminal Justice.
Seventeen large Safer Community Teams have taken the place of the previous 41.
The force website now includes a new look to its Safer Community Team pages to reflect the changes.
