Manage your council tax bills online

Online Citizen's Accounts are being rolled out across Northampton to allow residents to view and pay council tax bills or statements online.
The new scheme is currently being introduced across the region. The easy to use and secure accounts allow payments to be made and balances checked without the need to telephone Northampton Borough Council.
Bills and statements currently being sent to residents contain a unique pin number that can be used to activate the new service. People can simply log-on to www.northampton.gov.uk/thatwaseasy and follow the online instructions.
Council bosses are hoping the service will save on print and postage costs.
Cabinet member for finance, Councillor David Perkins said:  "We want to make receiving and dealing with your council tax bill or rent statement as easy as possible for people.
"Doing things online means no fuss, just simple to use tools that you can use at a time to suit you. You can also receive your bill electronically in the future, so we are giving our customers the opportunity to handle their account and use other services in a quicker and easier way."
