HUNSBURY: Celebrate Easter at St Benedict's

St Benedict's Church in West Hunsbury is all set to celebrate Easter - and much of the rest of 2011.
Vicar Jonathan Kimber will hold major services throughout the period, including Communion on Easter Sunday.
There will also be a Palm Sunday service at 10am on April 17, a sermon on 'Reflections on the journey to the cross' at 7.30pm on April 20, Maundy Tuesday Eucharist at 8pm on April 21 and a Good Friday Service at 2pm on April 22. Later in year the church will be holding an Open Church Week between May 10 and 15.
The theme for the event will be 'Heroes & Heroines' with the aim to celebrate those people who quietly help others within the community.
And St Benedict's will also be continuing its series of Thirty Minute Church services.
These regular and more relaxed sessions take place on the second Sunday of every month between 11.30am and 12noon.
Upcoming Thirty Minute Church services include 'Speak out' on April 10, 'Laugh and sing' on May 8 and 'Shout' on June 12.
