Curiosity Killed The Cat to play Walk in the Park festival

Curiosity Killed The Cat
Chart topping 80's legends Curiosity Killed The Cat have been confirmed as one of the star names to play this year's Walk in the Park.
The group, whose hits included Down to Earth, Ordinary Day and Misfit, have been signed up for the festival on Friday, July 1 and Saturday, July 2.
It will be the sixth annual Walk in the Park event, organised by Wootton and East Hunsbury Parish Council. The Big Family Night Out will take place on the Friday night and the Community Festival on Saturday.
Fifteen thousand people attended last year's event, staged at the Wootton recreation ground, with even more expected this time round.
Parish Councillor Jonathan Nunn, a member of the organising committee, said: "The Walk in the Park is a highlight of the calender, and it's getting bigger and better every year.
"We're delighted that Curiosity Killed The Cat have already signed up, but that's just the start - we're just putting the finishing touches to negotiations with some really exciting acts that are going to go down a storm.
Last year's Walk in the Park
"There's going to be something for everyone this year, and we reckon by the time we've completed our line up the last four decades will be represented.
"Indeed, not only will there be a blast from the past, we might also be launching a name for the future, as our 'Wootton's Got Talent' winner Evangeline Anyahoa is being given her big chance to perform alongside some of the big names we have lined up, which she is really excited about, and rightly so, because she is clearly a very talented young lady."
Tickets for the Friday family extravaganza go on sale today (February 1) at a cost of £10 for adults and £6 for children.

After March 31 they will cost £12 for adults and £6 for children. A family ticket for four people costs £26. Admission is free on Saturday.
Tickets can be purchased online at http://www.walkintheparkfestival.co.uk/
Proceeds from the event will be donated to an as yet unnamed local charity.
Last year the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance was handed a cheque for £2,000.
Mr Nunn added: "There really will be something for everyone - for the children and for the adults, and we're all really excited about our line-up for this year.
"Over the last five years this event has really taken off, and we've been overwhelmed with interest from all over Northamptonshire.
"Everyone is welcome to come and join our fun."
