But there's no need to panic - Wootton's popular annual festival has simply seen it's PR handed over to a new publicity expert.
Northampton-based public relations agency Red Alert Media has been hired to head up the publicity for this year's 'Walk In The Park' festival. The annual event, always full of family fun and entertainment, is run by Wootton and East Hunsbury Parish Council and attracts thousands of people every year to the Wootton recreation ground.
This year is the sixth 'Walk In The Park', and over the next month, organisers will be announcing some big name, high profile performers.
Parish council Councillor and member of the event organising committee Jonathan Nunn said: "The 'Walk In The Park' festival has established itself as one of, if not the, biggest family night out in the county, and last year, over two nights, we attracted over 15,000 people.
"It's a fantastic family event, and we have some really ambitious plans for it in the coming years, so we decided we needed to bring in a publicist to help us spread the word.
"Whenever we've mentioned PR to people, they've immediately suggested we speak to Peter Jones at Red Alert Media.
"He is obviously very highly rated, and we've seen for ourselves, and heard about, the terrific job he's done promoting the Deco Theatre panto over the past two Christmasses. Not only that, he's a local man, he's extremely enthusiastic, and we're delighted to welcome him on board."
The Red Alert Media team will be in place between now and this year's 'Walk In The Park', on July 1 and 2.
The company's Peter Jones said: "I was very flattered to take a call from the organisers asking me if I was interested in getting involved, and I was delighted to do so.
"The 'Walk In The Park' is a fantastic event for local people in Wootton and East Hunsbury, it has much to be proud of, and as its reputation is spreading, visitors are flocking in from all over the county, let alone the town.
"I'm a local guy, and my family love 'Walk In The Park' - it's one of the must-attend events of the annual calender. So I'm delighted to be involved professionally; there's two fantastic evenings being lined up this July, and I'll be working with the organisers and the team around them to help it further establish itself as a 'must visit' Northampton family occasion."
