The 31-year-old from East Hunsbury went for short chubbing session on the Great Ouse near Newport Pagnell before heading off to marry new wife Kellie in the afternoon.
A paste-wrapped boilie hookbait did the business for Sam, whose best man gave Kellie a rod and reel combo as a wedding gift.
