The man, who had been wanted on recall to prison, fell victim to the latest Operation Guardian initiative day on November 11.
The scheme is Northamptonshire Police's latest attempt to crackdown on serious acquisitive crime, such as robbery, burglary and vehicle crime.
Also arrested were:
- A 23-year-old man arrested on suspicion of drugs offences at an address in Cook Terrace, Long Buckby
- Three men arrested in Hood Street, Northampton, in connection with theft from a motor vehicle
- A 29-year-old man arrested on suspicion of drugs offences at an address in James Watt Avenue, Corby
- Two arrests on suspicion of drugs offences at an address in Weekley Glebe Road, Kettering
- An 18-year-old man from Eastern Avenue South, Northampton, for failing to appear at court
- A 19-year-old man from Thornton Road, Northampton, also for failing to appear at court
Superintendent Pete Windridge, who is leading Operation Guardian: "The early activity has been very encouraging in our quest to hunt down those dealing in drugs and involved in robbery, burglary and vehicle crime.
"We have also picked up three men wanted for recall to prison or failing to appear and the message is clear - we are on your case and will continue to be so in our determination to make our communities safer."
Since September last year, Northamtponshire Police have made nearly 2,000 arrests under Operation Guardian and carried out many search warrants during regular High Impact days.
