Police searching for quadruple murder suspect Anxiang Du are sifting through 200 leads.
A number of potential witnesses have come forward after police retraced the steps taken by the Chinese businessman on Friday, April 29.
Mr Du is wanted in connection with the murder of Jeff Ding, Helen Chui, 18-year-old Xing Ding and her little sister, Alice, 12.
The four were stabbed to death at their home in Pioneer Close, Sampson Manor in Wootton. Detective Inspective Glyn Timmins, leading the investigation, said: "On Friday, we conducted live enquiries following the exact route we believe Mr Du took on the Friday, after he had left his place and arrived at Northampton.
"We spoke to a number of people, including putting up posters in key locations.
"Following this activity we took a number of statements indicating sightings of Mr Du.
"It is apparent from these reports that a number of these witnesses have seen the extensive media coverage of this case, but for whatever reason have not come forward to report the information to the police earlier.
"There is a strong possibility that there are other witnesses out there, who have information but might not have come forward yet.
"I want to appeal again to members of the public and stress that any information we receive will be dealt with sensitively or confidentially through Crimestoppers.
"So far we have received over 200 reports relating to Mr Du and we will follow up every one of these leads."
Police are still searching for a silver Vauxhall Corsa, registration BH60 PMO, believed to be Mr Du's getaway vehicle.
