That's according to result of our 'Is HS2 a good idea?' poll posted on The Hunsbury Herald for the last week.
The poll was launched following the visit of the HS2 roadshow to Northampton Station on April 12.
HS2 is a Y-shaped high speed rail network linking London to Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds. Trains on the line would run up to 250mph and save passengers 35 minutes on journeys from the capital to Birmingham.
But the scheme has been critcised as environmentally flawed. In all 152 people voted in our Poll, with 100 (65 per cent) of you saying that HS2 is a good idea.
The government consultation on the scheme will remain open until Friday, July 29.
