Northampton Borough Council's Leisure Trust has a number of activities open for children throughout the region.
Locally, young footballers, aged 13, will be able to take part in some Extreme Fun Football when the Trust brings its play sessions to Danes Camp Leisure Centre between Monday, April 11 and Monday, April 18. The youngsters will get the chance to learn new skills, test their shot speed, try out penalty and free kick techniques and take part in tournaments.
The sessions take place from 2-4pm each day and cost £6 with a leisure card and £7 without.
Elsewhere in the town eight to 12 year olds will be able to take part in trampolining courses at Lings Forum from 11.30am to 12.30pm between Monday, April 11 and Friday, April 15.
Sessions cost £4 with a leisure card (£5 without) or £17 for the week (£20 without a leisure card).
Five to 12 year olds can have a go at golf at Delapre Golf Course from April 12-14. The three day course costs £5 per session and each day lasts from 10am to 12noon.
Street Dance lessons suitable for five to 12 year olds take place at Lings from Monday, April 18 to Friday, April 21 from 10am to 12pm. Sessions cost £6 with a leisure card (£7 without) or £20 for the week (£24 without a leisure card).

If sport is not your child's thing, then perhaps the Trust's Funzone play scheme is.
Based at Thomas Becket School the Ofsted registered scheme caters for six to 13-year-olds.
Drama, sports and creative play are just some of the activities children can take part in during the daily sessions which will run from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm throughout the Easter holidays.
Funzone sessions are also being run at Lings Forum Leisure Centre with day rates costing £19 per child (£17 for leisure card holders). Weekly rates are £90 (£80 for leisure card holders).

Finally the Trust's street footballers are preparing to compete in a three-day five-a-side football festival taking place at the Racecourse over the holiday period.
Over 200 young footballers from Northampton’s street football projects will be taking part in the tournament which runs from Tuesday, April 19 to Thursday, April 21 from 12.30pm to 4.30pm.
Coaches and volunteers from the projects have handpicked the squads of 10 eight to 18-year-olds based on their attendance at practice sessions and their good behaviour.
The street football project aims to teach young people new skills and how to be team players, as well as valuable social and communication skills.
Everyone taking part in the tournament will receive a medal and the winning team will get to watch Northampton Town play at Sixfields.
Other honours up for grabs include best skills in the game, best save, most fair player and winner of a penalty shoot out competition.
Street football officer Gavin Lewis said: "The festivals are always a lot of fun for everyone taking part. Although it’s a competition that all the teams want to win, players get along great and the atmosphere is amazing.”
