Boy died in car smash, inquest hears

A teenager boy was killed on the M1 after the car his uncle was driving spun out of control and crashed, an inquest has heard.
A report in yesterday's Northampton Chronicle & Echo revealed how Olumide Oluwagbemiga Oladipo, 13, had been travelling with his cousins in the back seat of nurse John Adeyami's car when the accident happened between junctions 15 and 15a near Milton Malsor at 1.30am on September 2, 2009.

The newspaper reports how Olumide is believed to have died almost instantly after suffering numerous internal and external injuries, including a fractured skull and liver laceration.
All the other passengers survived.
Olumbide's father is quoted as saying his son was 'the life and soul of the party' as well as a talented student and sportsman.
Rodney Haig, deputy coroner, recorded a verdict of accidental death.
Adeyemi, who had worked a night shift before the incident, pleaded guilty to causing death by careless driving last May at Northampton Crown Court.
