Diva Fever to play Walk in the Park festival

X-Factor finalists Diva Fever have been named as the latest addition to the Walk in the Park festival line-up.
The duo will join 1980s chart-toppers Curiosity Killed The Cat and last year's Wootton's Got Talent winner Evangeline Anyahoa at the event on July 1 and 2.
Diva Fever first hit our TV screens back in September last year, at the Manchester auditions of The X Factor - putting a smile on Simon Cowell's face and getting guest judge, Pussycat Doll's Nicole Scherzinger up on her feet and dancing. The group, made up of 26-year-old Josef Al-Smadi and Craig Saggers, 21, eventually progressed through to The X Factor live finals as Cowell's "wildcard", before leaving in Week 2.
Wootton and Hunsbury Parish Council Councillor Brandon Eldred, who sits on the event's organising committee, said: "This is another big coup for us, and with more big names to be confirmed over the next few weeks, this year's Walk In The Park festival is going to be our biggest and best yet."
The festival, which attracts thousands of people to Wootton Recreation Ground each year, consists of the Big Family Night Out on Friday, July 1 and the community festival on Saturday, July 2.
The second night gives local bands the opportunity to showcase their talents in front of a big audience.
More than 15,000 people attended last year's event.
Tickets for the Friday family extravaganza are already on sale at a cost of £10 for adults and £6 for children until March 31, and then £12 for adults and £6 for children. A family ticket for four people costs just £26.
Admission on Saturday is free.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.walkintheparkfestival.co.uk
