The West Northamptonshire Development Corporation is currently advertising the role which would involve overseeing major building projects in the area.
According to the advert, the right candidate would be 'passionate' about the development of Northampton and 'care about local people and sustainable regeneration and growth'.
The corporation is currently entering the final phase of its operation to exercise planning control and enable housing growth. In this phase it will be concentrating on five key projects: the Grosvenor Centre, the Avon/Nunn Mills area, the Waterside scheme, St Johns/Angel Street and the Castle Station.

The part-time job would involved three days work per month, but commands a healthy salary of £11,968 per annum.
