Memorial service for former Women's Institute leader

A memorial service was held yesterday to pay tribute to a former chairman of Collingtree Women's Institute.
Mourners at St Columba's Church in Collingtree honoured the memory of Elizabeth Price, who died in a nursing home in Cobham, Surrey, on December 27.
Mrs Price settled in Collingtree in later life after spending 16 years running ballet and theatrical wear shop, The Stage Door, initially in Kerr Street, Northampton and later in Artizan Road, Abington.
Along with husband Bill, who died in 1979, she had three children - John, Helen and Patricia - and three grandchildren - Lorna, Sarah and Matthew.
Born in Somerset in 1921, she died aged 89.
