Two to four inches of snow expected overnight

Experts are predicting up to six inches (15cm) of snow could fall overnight as Northamptonshire braces itself for more wintry conditions.
The county has so far avoided the very worst of the snowfall that has plunged many of Britain's roads into chaos, but tonight Northamptonshire County Council's snowdesk is predicting heavy snowfall.
The Met Office earlier issued a serious weather warning for the area with snow expected to arrive at about 9pm - 20 minutes time. The snowdesk, a hub which controls the movements of the council's gritting teams, is expecting air temperatures to fall to -3.5 degrees and road temperatures to -6.
The council's 27 gritters have been out and about tonight preparing the roads for the snow.
About two to four inches (5-10cm) of snow are expected, with the worst being prepared for up to six inches - although this is expected to be in the north of the county.
The county council has already used 6,000 tonnes of salt on the road, but has the same amount in reserves with more supplies on their way.
