Literacy and numeracy levels among 11-year-olds in East Hunsbury are improving.
The latest Government figures - for 2009 - show pupils at Key Stage 2 have been getting better results year-on-year since 2006.
In the East Hunsbury Ward, 80 per cent of pupils achieved level four or above in English, 80 per cent achieved the same level or higher in Maths and the figure was even higher on 86 per cent for Science.
These figures compared to scores of 79, 72 and 79 per cent in 2006.
The results also compare favourably with the national averages for 2009 of 80, 79 and 88 per cent; although they are somewhat lower than the averages for South Northamptonshire as a whole, which were 87, 82 and 92 per cent.
The full figures can be found on the Department for Education's In Your Area website.
