A builder who performed a sex act in front of a woman has pleaded guilty to outraging public decency.
Kelly Simons, 23, of Granary Road, Wootton told Northampton Magistrates' Court he had received a suggestive message from his girlfriend prior to the incident.
The court heard yesterday (Thursday) that Simons had been working as a cavity wall insulator at a nursery in Overslade Close in West Hunsbury when he had gone to urinate in some bushes.
It was then he received the text message from his girlfriend, the court was told.
The female victim, who had been walking home, saw him emerge from the bushes with his hands down his trousers.
Simons was fined £400 and ordered to pay £100 in costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
