Time is running out for residents to make their views known on plans that would see a thousand homes built near Collingtree.
At the beginning of January the West Northamptonshire Joint Planning Unit (JPU) announced proposals to build 11,000 new houses across the county over the next 15 years.
The majority are planned for the outskirts of Northampton, including the 1,000 homes in an expanded Collingtree and further expansion in an area between Wootton and Hardingstone. The plans were backed by Northampton Borough Council last month and went to public consultation from Thursday, February 17.
Yesterday (March 3) the consultation period entered it's final month, with the final date for applications set for Thursday, March 31.
People can see the plans in full and submit their representations by visiting the JPU's consultations page.
