The latest police priorities for East and West Hunsbury have been revealed.
In East Hunsbury, Northamptonshire Police will concentrate on the following issues:
Alleviate parking problems around the primary schools Regular patrols will continue to allow officers to give parents advice on considerate parking.
Reduce nuisance around Butts Road and Tesco Mereway Both the Safer Community Teams and Special Constabulary carry out patrols in the area. The parish youth workers are also in the area signposting young people to more appropriate activities.
Reduce litter at Tesco Mereway A bin has been installed in the Mereway underpass that will help reduce litter around Tesco.
In West Hunsbury, the following priorities have been identified:
Reduce car parking problems/congestion around Hunsbury Park School, Camp Hill and St Luke's Primary School, St Crispin Regular patrols continue to advise people of considerate parking. Partnership co-ordinator Pete Staffell is investigating a long term solution.
Reduce youth problems in Upton Youth outreach workers continue to signpost youngsters to more appropriate activities.
