Women's golf championship to be played at Collingtree

Collingtree Park Golf Club is set to host the English Women's Open Mid-Amateur Championship later this year.
The event will take place between Thursday, June 30 and Sunday, July 3, with all competitors taking part in the first two qualifying rounds - consisting of 36 holes in all - on the Thursday.
The leading 32 players will then qualify for the Championship Match Play, with first round matches taking place on the morning of Friday, July 1 and second round matches the same afternoon. Sunday, July 2 will see the quarter finals take place in the morning and the semi finals in the afternoon, with the final being played on the morning of the following day.
The competition will be preceeded by a practice day on Wednesday, June 29.
Entries for the event close on Friday, June 3 and cost £40. Competitors must have been over 18 on Junuary 1, 2011 and play off no more than a handicap of 9.4
