Headmaster sought at Collingtree school

Time is running out for teachers who believe they can be 'a caring, inspirational and enthusiastic leader' to take the top job at a Collingtree school.
Collingtree Church of England Primary School is advertising for a new headmaster after the previous incumbent retired after 27 years at the school.
The closing date for applications is January 31, with the successful person due to start in September. The adverts states: 'Collingtree is an attractive village three miles to the south of Northampton.
'Our school is very popular, with a rising roll, and is proud to be celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2011. As a Church of England school, we have strong links with our local church, parish and local community.
'These links provide a firm foundation for continued progress and enrichment at the school.
'The successful candidate should have strong moral purpose, the ability to challenge and the strength to stand up for what they believe is right.
'In return, we can offer a rising roll of happy, lively and enthusiastic children, a network of dedicated and experienced staff, governors, parents, local community and church, to support our new head to thrive and develop.'
Interviews will start the week beginning February 14 at the school in South Lawn, Lodge Avenue, Collingtree.
