'Appy days for young iPhone whizzkid

A 12-year-old genius has become one of the youngest people in the world to develop an iPhone app.
Thomas Goodenough, from Collingtree, Northampton developed the application, which gives users a tour of the Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA) and allows them to become virtual pilots.
According a report in the Daily Mail, it is currently being downloaded 150 times a day.
Thomas told that paper it was good to be able to support a worthy cause like the air ambulance service.
He added that he has already created apps about Aston Martin, Porsche, a Virtual Supercar, a virtual cricket game and one to create a number plate.
The youngster is believed to be the youngest app developer in Britain.
The world's youngest is Lim Ding Wen, 9, from Singapore, while American teenager Robert Nay, 14, has seen more than two million iPhone users download his Bubble Ball game.
