Wild & Woolly... and very cold

Bikers braved freezing conditions to take on Blisworth's annual Wild & Woolly motor scramble on Boxing Day.
Trumpeted as the oldest race of its type in the world, yesterday's contest was the 85th time it had taken place.
It was first held in 1932 - World War Two, the Suez Crisis and foot and mouth mean it hasn't taken place every year since it's inception - but temperatures could only rarely have been as low as the -9 degrees 'enjoyed' by riders this year.
The race, which lasted an hour with the winner being the person to have completed the most laps, started at 11am and took place at Arm Farm, situated on the A43 between Blisworth and Milton Malsor.
It was won by Jack Lee, from Higham Ferrers, whose 300cc GasGas two stroke bike completed 21 laps, ahead of Neil Prince who finished the course 20 times.
All proceeds from the contest will go to charity.
