Tree of Light offers time for reflection

A quiet hour of reflection will give people a chance to remember the loved ones who will no longer be able to spend Christmas with them.
St Michael and All Angels Church in Church Lane, Bugbrooke will be holding its Tree of Light Service at 7pm on Thursday, December 9.
The service will provide a time of reflection, accompanied by guitar music, a tree covered with lights and messages, carols, tea, coffee and mince pies.
Each remembered person’s name will be read out and recorded in a book of remembrance.
The church will require a donation for each name remembered, with proceeds shared between the Macmillan appeal for a new Haematology Dept at Northampton General Hospital, the Willow Foundation (providing special days for seriously ill 16 to 40 year olds) and Bugbrooke church.
For more information call the church office on 01604 830373.
