A public meeting will take place next week to allow residents of Wootton and East Hunsbury to have their say on policing priorities in the area.
Northampton Borough Council and Northamptonshire Police officers will host the meeting with members of Wootton and East Hunsbury Parish Council from 7pm on Wednesday, November 17 at Wootton Sports and Community Centre.
The outcome will decide the priorities that the council and police will attempt to tackle.
A joint statement said: "This is a chance for people to get involved and have a say in how we deliver services. You know your neighbourhood, and you know what we can do to make it a better place to live.
'Come along to the meeting and make sure your voice is heard.'
And Acting Inspector Lara Alexander-Lloyd of Northampton South-West Safer Community Team added: "Our Safer Community Teams in Northampton work hard in partnership with councils and other agencies to put our communities first.
"This meeting is an excellent opportunity for residents to come and tell us what matters most to them"
Anyone who would like to find out more about the meeting should contact Pete Staffell at Northampton Borough Council by calling 01604 838598 or on email at pstaffell@northampton.gov.uk
