County council finances to be discussed at Wootton School

The third of a series of public meetings to discuss the future of the county council's finances is set to take place at Caroline Chisholm School.
The Wooldale Road school in Wootton will host the meeting on Tuesday, November 2.
Northamptonshire County Council cabinet members and directors will outline the challenges it faces in the current financial situation.
Councils across the country have been told they have to save money to help reduce the national deficit.
The meeting is one of six organised by Northamptonshire Police Authority.
People attending the meeting will be told what the current financial situation at the council is, where its money comes from and how it is spent, and what pressures it will face following the Government's Comprehensive Spending Review.
The results of the council's You Choose project, which asked people what savings they would like to see made, will also be discussed.
County council leader Councillor Jim Harker said: "It is important for us to listen to local residents' opinions on the tough decisions we will have to make about inevitable spending cuts, to ensure that their voices are being heard during this difficult period.
"It is no secret that we are facing unprecedented financial challenges, with estimates that by 2014 we will need to save £100m.
"The Comprehensive Spending Review will give us a real indication of where the pressures will be and help us plan our budget."
The other meetings will take place in Corby on October 14, Wellingborough on October 25, Prince William School in East Northants on November 8, Brackley on November 17 and Kettering on November 24.
